London, United Kingdom: July 24, 2018: British Army Officer turned entrepreneur, Charles Clark, has been recognized by Heropreneurs for his commitment to helping people in business fulfil their potential.
Clark has been chosen as a finalist for this year’s Business Leader of the Year award, given to inspirational leaders who have acted with selfless commitment, engendered an ethos of integrity and cultivated an environment where others can succeed.
The Heropreneurs Awards, run in association with The Telegraph, sponsored by Surge Group plc and with support from the Ministry of Defence and Warwick Business School, celebrates the achievements of ex-Armed Forces personnel in business. It is run by Heropreneurs, the charity that helps ex-Armed Forces personnel and their dependants on the road to creating their own businesses and become entrepreneurs.
After serving five years in the Coldstream Guards, and then as a successful banker in the City, Clark founded Rosslyn Data Technologies, the first software company in the world to develop cloud based data analytics as a service (SaaS).
Clark is actively involved in helping future business leaders. He serves as the Chairman of DarkBeam, Non-Executive of The GDPR Institute, and as President of Rosslyn Data Technologies. He is also supports and advises the CEO and board of The RPA Academy.
All the while, Clark mentors former military personnel, and is a member of The Royal Company of Archers, a ceremonial unit that serves as the Sovereign's Bodyguard in Scotland.
The winner of the Heropreneurs will be announced at a gala event on 14 November, at the Plaisterers Hall, in the City of London.
